Kenya Mission

When you hear the statistics, “1.2 million Kenyan children have been orphaned due to HIV/AIDS”, it would be easy to gloss over this information because it is so overwhelming. The Bible tells us that caring for the widows and orphans is one of the things God expects us to do.  (James 1:27) How can we make a difference in the life of even one child that finds themselves parentless, often caring for younger siblings.

Through our support of Life for Children Ministry, we find tangible ways to care for “the least of these” (Matthew 25:45). This faith based charity is “committed to providing food, shelter, clothing, education, healthcare and spiritual nourishment to HIV/AIDS orphans and vulnerable children in Kenya.”  But in that statement is so much more than we can experience from this side of the world. Children that once saw no hope or future are now smiling, playing, and learning just like any ordinary child. There is a bright future waiting for these children touched by Life For Children Ministry!
