We Are United Methodist.
That is our statement for many reasons. First of all, we are steeped in the history of the United Methodist Church. As a congregation we were started by faithful United Methodists who in 1969 bought this parcel of land and began praying for a new United Methodist Church here, just a year after the formation of the United Methodist Church. It then took another 11 years for that vision to become a reality. United Methodist investment in prayer, resources, personnel, and sweat and tears has profited a vibrant Church committed to our Wesleyan Heritage, our orthodox beliefs, and especially to Jesus Christ.
