Sonja Poorman Roebuck is a choral music director, composer and teacher. She has directed children, youth, and adults in church choirs and instrumental ensembles, and has also taught middle and high school choral music. Sonja has written, co-written, or arranged over one hundred school and sacred choral compositions which have been published by Alfred Music, Brilee Music, Carl Fischer Music, Shawnee Press, Hal Leonard Publishing Corporation, Jubilate Music and more. After many years in Texas, Sonja and her husband Randy recently moved back to their roots in the Fort Wayne area near their son, Brandon. They enjoy cooking, kayaking and traveling.
