Michael Agwanda is married to Dr. Lolla Agwanda. They have three boys and one girl of their own and six orphans under their care. He is the founder of Life for Children Welfare (Kenya), Youth Initiative Network, ICC computer college, Atlanta Security Group Co. Ltd. as well as a missionary and international partner with TMS Global . He also serves as a vice-president and CEO of Life for Children ministry USA.
Michael’s passion is to reach out to the orphans of HIV/AIDS and vulnerable children in Kenya by transforming their lives for a better tomorrow through providing shelter, food, health care, education and spiritual nourishment. Life for Children Ministry, under Michael’s leadership, has done this since 2007 and now has over 350 orphans in it’s care.
Life for Children Ministry which is a 501(c)(3), has created a global outreach for short-term mission trips, interns, and exchange programs. Through this outreach, Americans and others have been involved in cross cultural work not limited to orphan and vulnerable children’s sponsorship, but also planting and constructing churches, training local pastors, financing micro finance, starting homeless (Street Kids) feeding programs, evangelism, holding medical and vocational camps, constructing a community pharmacy, building low cost homes for widows and providing clean drinking water through drilling water wells/bore hole. Michael also helped build St. Anthony Wachara Christian School with over 300 children.
